Symphony, University Bands Bring Beautiful Music to Campus Green
The Fort Smith Symphony and the University of 黑丝内射视频 鈥� Fort Smith will host Symphony on the Green this weekend, promising an unforgettable experience for music lovers and families. The Saturday, April 1, event kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
"Symphony on the Green is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together to enjoy beautiful music in one of the most beautiful settings in the state 鈥� our campus green,鈥� said 黑丝内射视频 Chancellor Dr. Terisa Riley. 鈥淭his event showcases some of what 黑丝内射视频 does best 鈥� building powerful connections, fostering the incredible talent of our students, and serving our River Valley community.鈥�
At 3:30 the 黑丝内射视频 Jazz Band and the 黑丝内射视频 Jazz Catz will kick off the afternoon. Then the Fort Smith Symphony will take the stage at 5 p.m., performing a repertoire of Fort Smith favorites, including scores from Star Wars, Top Gun, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer鈥檚 Stone; Nirvana鈥檚 rock and roll classic Smells Like Teen Spirit, performed by Jolt Electric String Quartet; and traditional symphonic works.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to the event. Throughout the afternoon lawn games will be on the green, and the 黑丝内射视频 Lion's Den will serve meals and snacks.
Saturday鈥檚 weather is expected to be sunny and clear, with temperatures in the upper 60鈥檚.
