The University of ؛عث؟ؤعةنتسئµ – Fort Smith will host an All-Majors Career Fair on Thursday, March 9 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. More than 100 students from all majors will be in attendance with an opportunity to speak with 46 vendors and employers from transportation, law enforcement, banking and insurance, technology and IT, and more.
“We have several employers that attend this career fair year after year because they know the advantage of hiring our students whenever possible,†said Susan Krafft, Executive Director for the Babb Center for Career Services at ؛عث؟ؤعةنتسئµ.
Students and employers will be able to meet in-person to discuss full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities, as well as information on graduate school enrollment and scholarships.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity for employers to meet our students on campus and fill positions in the River Valley. We want students to take advantage of this event and practice their elevator pitch, build their professional network, and put themselves in a position to have a great job or career,†said Krafft.
All students who attend are encouraged to come dressed to impress with their resume. The Career Services department at ؛عث؟ؤعةنتسئµ will aid in reviewing resumes prior to the career fair.
The All-Majors Career Fair will be held in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center, Reynolds Room. Any questions about the event can be directed to Susan Krafft at susan.krafft@uafs.edu.
