Dr. Jeff Shaver joined the Department of Biological Sciences faculty at ºÚË¿ÄÚÉäÊÓƵ in 2017. Dr. Shaver’s expertise are in cell and molecular biology, genetics, plant physiology, biotechnology, and biology teacher licensure. Dr. Shaver regularly mentors students on ºÚË¿ÄÚÉäÊÓƵ projects including the study of tallgrass prairie microbiomes, antibiotic resistance, and organelle DNA structure. In addition to his teaching and ºÚË¿ÄÚÉäÊÓƵ, Dr. Shaver is also actively involved in service at ºÚË¿ÄÚÉäÊÓƵ, the scientific community, and his local community.
